We’re the Allen Family, and like many of our guests, we first came to Orlando to escape long Northeast winters and spend time together at Walt Disney World.
Over the years, we returned again and again. What started as occasional vacations became something more — a tradition.
As our children grew, we realized hotels no longer worked for our family. We needed more space. A full kitchen. A place where everyone could spread out and truly relax. With dietary restrictions that made eating out challenging, having the ability to prepare our own meals became essential. And as our kids got older, having separate bedrooms wasn’t just a luxury — it was necessary.
That’s when we discovered the difference a private vacation home makes.
Why We Chose Tropical Paradise Villa
In 2014, we purchased Tropical Paradise Villa inside gated Emerald Island Resort — just 2.5 miles from Disney’s main entrance.
We chose this home intentionally.
Close enough for easy park mornings and stress-free evenings, yet tucked against conservation land for added privacy. Active and vibrant, yet peaceful when you close the door.
It’s not just a rental property to us — it’s our future winter retirement home.
