Emerald Island Resort is located just three stoplights south of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, making it one of the closest resorts to Disney.
Our “island” serves as a tranquil sanctuary, secured by gates and enveloped by a vast 300-acre wildlife conservation area. At its center lies a peaceful 11-acre wooded reserve. As you enter, you’re greeted by lush tropical landscaping, graceful palm trees, and beautiful flowers. Don’t forget to capture a family photo at our stunning dolphin fountain—it’s sure to create lasting memories!
Emerald Island Resort Clubhouse
The Emerald Island Resort Clubhouse is just a one-minute stroll from the Tropical Paradise Villa. It is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. It acts as the hub of resort activities and is free for all guests. Within the clubhouse, you will find a fitness center, sundry shop, and a cyber café. Staff are always on hand to assist with inquiries and provide brochures on local attractions. Check the schedule to stay informed about seasonal activities and events.
Take advantage of the clubhouse community pool for sunbathing. Also, enjoy a swim in the heated pool, or unwind in the sauna and spa. The Tiki bar serves food, drinks, and hosts entertaining events. Also, look at the event calendar for exciting activities like karaoke nights.
The sundry shop is the perfect place for last-minute purchases.
If your visit aligns with a holiday, the resort organizes various events throughout the year. Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunts, and Santa visits are very popular. Check the clubhouse calendar for event specifics during your stay.

Outdoor Activities
Children can have a great time playing and expending energy at one of the three playgrounds scattered throughout the resort.
For running enthusiasts, there is a picturesque trail that winds through the 11-acre conservation area, ideal for a refreshing morning jog.
If you’re attending a tournament, the resort features a variety of sports courts and outdoor activities. These include volleyball, basketball, tennis, Bocce Ball, and Pickle Ball. Equipment rentals are conveniently available at the clubhouse.
The mini-golf course, located near the clubhouse, provides a fun experience for kids. Swing by the clubhouse to pick up your clubs and balls, but remember, we will need a deposit. Don’t worry, it will be refunded!
