Introduction to Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World Resort, located in the heart of Central Florida, is the most visited vacation destination in the world. Since opening in 1971 with the iconic Magic Kingdom, the resort has continued to grow and evolve, welcoming millions of guests each year. Spanning more than 25,000 acres—about 39 square miles—Disney World offers an unparalleled mix of theme parks, water parks, dining, shopping, and entertainment.

The resort is home to four world-class theme parks:

Disney World also features two themed water parks: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon & Disney’s Blizzard Beach.

Beyond the parks, Disney Springs provides a lively entertainment district filled with restaurants, shops, live music, and unique experiences that make it a destination all its own.
