Want to shop until you drop? Taking a day out of our theme park schedule to shop is a must for us. We like to shop at these premium outlet malls.
Plan to arrive a few minutes before opening to get a parking spot. If you arrive later be prepared to take some time to find a spot. Our favorite of the two malls is Orlando International Premium Outlets, located at 4951 International Drive, Orlando. Valet parking is available, but of course at a cost.
Additionally, we will stop by the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets located at 8200 Vineland Avenue, Orlando.
Our first stop of the day is always the Disney’s Character Warehouse; the official Disney outlet store. We try to get there as they open because on most days that is when they are putting out new merchandise. Watch the carts coming by to get some great deals. This is the time the professional shoppers are there so you must be quick! Get great souvenirs here at a fraction of the original cost!
My next stop is the Vera Bradley store. Here you can find lots of the discontinued purses, totes and other accessories also at a fraction of the price.
Other popular stores are Nike and Calvin Klein. I particularly like Le Creuset. If I purchase something here I always ask to have it sent to my home because it is generally way too heavy to carry in your luggage. Additionally, there is a food court to get a quick lunch. We usually find a day at the Premium Outlet Malls to be fun and relaxing.
